Recently my string and spring broke. This pulley with spring was easy to install and worked out perfectly. You will need to keep the little plastic wings and screw from your old one.
My old pulley/spring assembly had worn out and needed to be replaced. This item proved to be a factory equivalent that got the job done. I would purchase this item again.Other notes:If you are not quite careful during installation it is very easy to "pop" the spring out. Once it pops out it is quite a bit of work to get it coiled up and reseated in the pulley. we got this for an old retro 1970's 3 wheeler. It was a bit tricky getting it loaded at the right length, but once it was in it worked perfectly! Was glad we could still find parts out there!
Works like it's supposed to. There isn't much more to say than that. I would buy it again. Good price.
