I was a bit wary of buying these wallflowers. I have concrete walls and feared the tacks would be too delicate to be driven in. However, my fears turned out be be unfounded. Not only were the wallflowers really beautiful (I bought them in chrome, and although they are plastic, they look expensive and unique), but I had no problems hammering the tacks in my wall.
I added these on a wall in front of my soaking tub surrounding a vinyl wall decal that says 'Be your own kind of Beautiful.' The wallflowers trail up the wall and above the huge window. I have candles below them so they reflect light beautifully by candle light.I am very pleased with them.I put them up using the tacks versus the tape. The tacks can be easily removed and the small holes filled in if need be. They have all stayed put.
I bought these because I had a weird corner wall that I wanted to add a design element to, but did not want anything overwhelming. I saw a picture of these silver wall flowers, and knew it would help carry the odd black wood, and silver and glass theme I had going into that side of room. I tried to arrange them like picture on box but instead of a long flowing cascade of flowers I ended up with a cluster of flowers. Not wholly disappointed just wish it came with a better way to hang. There is either permanent type nails, or one time use stickies. Either way you are stuck with your design after hanging. Hard to to get a feel of flow holding up one flower at a time.
I love how these look on the wall of my nursery but they keep falling. I was hoping to save the tacks for when we move but the adhesive included just isn't strong enough to hold even these lightweight plastic flowers so I'm hoping the tacks will keep them secure. They don't look plastic once up on the wall so that's a plus.
I bought these to hang in my cubicle - I wasn't sure about the chrome color because I had only seen them in white before but decided to try these instead since they were different. When I received them I was a little disappointed - due to the chrome color, they seemed to look more like airplane propellers than flowers to me. But once I hung them, I was happy with them. I only used about half (and not the largest size) but they look nice on the grey walls. So far the sticky adhesive seems to be holding them to the fabric walls fine. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
