For both face frame and faceless cabinets, aligning the drawer box to full extension slides is simple with our drawer mounting brackets. Simply clamp a bracket under each slide, set the drawer box into the drawer opening so it balances on the brackets, then pull the slide to the front of the box and drive your screws. The 12'' brackets work with most common drawer sizes, and the 1/8'' tabs on the front of the bracket are designed to fit under mounted full extension slides for perfect placement every time. This has got to be the easiest way to mount drawer slides! I don't know how it could get any easier. This coupled with the drawer slide mounting tool takes all of the guesswork and frustration out of installing a drawer. Well worth every penny!
I've used this jig on more than a few jobs installing drawers to ball bearing guides that I previously installed using spacers.This jig works great. It makes the job of installing your drawers a whole lot easier and faster. Just be sure to build your drawers so you have at least a 1/4" space between the drawer bottom and the stile. This jig won't work on cabinets with no stiles between the drawers. I suppose any reasonably competent woodworker could make a jig like this out of wood, but these are light weight, unbreakable and accurate.
Saves me time every time I install cabinets with full extension side-mounted drawer slides. Consistently perfect results. Not useful at all for any drawer slide that isn't side mounted.
This item is Very Helpful, not only on Drawer Sliders, but Drawers, Boxes, Shelves, Etc.(Anything Squared) These have helped me a lot today to help keep all of my corners Squared. You can also Clamp them to the Corners of Squared items as the glue Dries(Just make sure not to have excess glue on the Brackets themselves)Since the Plastic that these are made out of of is very Strong. They also function well in the use of holding boards together when Measuring for Corners, Drawer Length, Etc. In My Opinion: A Must Have For anyone working With Cabinets, Drawers, Boxes, Shelves, Etc
These are not necessary with small drawers. However when lining up large drawers, they make a frustrating job much easier. It should be noted that they really work best with the bracket mounting tool also manufactured by Kreg.
