I picked this up on a whim at an auto-parts store when I needed to change a headlight in my car. I figured for $6, I didn't have much to lose, and I needed something to see what I was doing with the headlight. As it turns out, I ended up with a pretty solid flashlight. The beam is bright, and it feels pretty solid overall. Plus, it's thin enough to keep in one of the pen slots of my messenger bag, where it ends up getting used a lot.There are a few issues that prevent this from being my EDC light, though:-The end cap switch is kind of soft. It has never turned on inadvertently, but it feels like it would if I had it in my pocket.-The beam has no real focus or lens. It is just a general white wash with an annoying ring around the center hotspot. This is probably a necessary evil given its slim design, but it is still unpleasant.-The LED bulb protrudes out from the end of the casing. This means it is susceptible to breakage if the light is dropped.Overall, if you need a cheap, decent light for around the house use or to pop in a glove compartment, this is a good choice. If you are looking for something to keep on your person, you will probably be better off spending a few more bucks on a nice Fenix or Streamlight LED flashlight.
