American Standard 0615.000.020 Rattan Vitreous China Undercounter Sink, White Reviews
I am so glad we went with this sink when renovating our downstairs powder room. The sink along with bamboo shaped faucets looks great! We took a risk ordering it without actually seeing it in person and it looks even better than the picture. Highly recommended!
After having this sink in our bathroom for over a year, when we added a 1/2 bath, we bought another one. It is deep enough to use without splashing water everywhere and our guests comment on its looks. What more could you ask?
When I replaced my bathroom vanity with a granite top, I replaced the sink with this undercounter "Rattan" sink. At first, I was going to replace the sink with a drop-in sink, but friends strongly recommended that I go with an undercounter sink. A friend suggested that I select a square or rectangular sink since it was my friend's experience that back splash was less of a problem, plus it would look different.Unfortunately, Home Depot and Lowes didn't have very many undercounter sinks that were square / rectangular in stock. I would have to special order if I didn't see one that I liked. Time was getting short and the granite counter installers were scheduled within a few days. Lowes had the American Standard Rattan Undercounter Sink in stock so I purchased it. When I showed friends what I had bought, they pointed out that the "rattan" design might need a bamboo or Asian type theme in the bathroom. They also pointed out that as a man who shaved, the "rattan" side would catch facial hair, dirt, grit and grim so that the sink would be more difficult to keep clean.Well, my friends were wrong! The "rattan" design is real subtle and it's no more difficult to clean than a smooth sided sink. I also really like its look. It does seem deep and there's less back splash of water.I did have some reservation that it might be too small. However, when I measured the opening, it was the same size as the drop-in sink that I was replacing. The fact that it's an undercounter sink makes it look smaller when it's not.If you like to wash your hair or clothes in the bathroom sink, I wouldn't recommend this sink. You'd probably be better off with an oval shaped sink.
