Exactly what I was wanting for my grandchildren to reach their sinks. They are sturdy and will not tip over and are beautiful also.
It's cute and matches my cherry bedroom furniture. I am an adult woman with a high bed. I feel secure using this stand. My only dislike is that there are no screw covers because the side screws are obvious.
This is another one of those products where it's really important to check the dimensions before buying online. They are posted right here on Amazon. One of these days I will learn this lesson.Meanwhile, if you are like me and see a photo of a step stool with storage, and a few glowing reviews by adults who claim to use it for their presumably adult-sized feet, you may, like me, conclude that this step stool is reasonably sized. That the steps would be comparable to the steps you may encounter in your daily life, the kind you use to walk up and down without fear of stepping off the sides. The kind you or a child might stand on comfortably, without pressing your feet closely together. Probably 18-24 inches across. Certainly big enough for an unsteady toddler to use safely. And that the storage compartment would be large enough to hold a few children's books.If you are like me, you would be wrong. This stool measures just over a foot across. Take a moment to hold your hands a foot apart and see how big that is.Don't get me wrong, this step stool is adorable and well crafted. I have a toy chest from Guidecraft and that's why I purchased this, sight (and dimensions) unseen. And if you are looking for a step stool that is too small for practical use, but would look great in an oversized doll house, or if you need a place to store a few CDs, then this is the step stool for you. However, if you want something your kids or yourself can use to reach high places, you may want to shop around.
