It cuts to length easily. Arrived quickly. It is not white. More of an off white. Would be nice for picture and description to match.
There are not a lot of options for replacing this type of rod. It is not especially attractive, but it does look almost exactly like the one it replaced, and is very easy to install. Just be sure you get one with the ends included.
After my roommate decided to take a saw to the old towel bars in our bathroom, I had to search for replacementsThe towel rack/bar we had was the kind that is adhered to the the wall along with the tile. Most towel racks assume you can take down at least one of the ends to install the towel bar, but that wasn't the case with ours.The towel bar arrived safely. I was able to easily cut the bar to the proper length with a hacksaw. I attached the included springy ends and installed the bar. It appears that it isn't as thick as the old bar, but it looks good enough for me.** As stated above, this bar COMES WITH THE SPRINGY ENDS! I'm not sure why "they" suggest adding additional ones to your cart. Safe yourself the money and just get the towel bar. **In case you didn't notice, the W in the product number means "white color", there is another CLR one that is clear.
The spring loaded ends are removable. I cut one inch off and only used one of the spring loaded ends. That way, it will be easy to remove in the future.
As another reviewer stated, the description of this product needs to make it clear the spring-loaded ends are included. I ended up buying more, which I didn't need.
My local hardward store had originally provided me with this type product, but they were out. Went to Amazon and they had it at a better price and it was white, which was what I wanted and the Lowe's only had it in clear which didn't match the other towel bars. Very happy all the way around with this. May order another just to have it around. Only criticism was that the description of the product was not complete.
Exactly what I was looking for. It was a little long but it was easily cut to the right length. If you have an older house and need to replace the towel bar for those porcelain sides, this is your piece!!!!
