I actually almost purchased this lamp today from Target. I use to own this design in pink, but gave it away after 6 months. It was very cute and sturdy--VERY EASY to put together. My only problem with this particular item is the price! My local Target store here in Michigan is only asking $19.99 for it.
Purchased this because we had a gift card for Amazon and needed a new lamp for the living room to match this wild rug my mom bought us. It's a great piece. I've installed CFL bulbs in all slots. When you first turn it on two lights light up, then another click gives you 3, then 5. The only downside is it is a cheap piece, so the cones are all plastic. It's held up just fine since we bought it over a year ago.
I bought this lamp for my sons room. He is four years old, and breaks alot of stuff, so I didn't want anything expensive, but I needed a lamp that would give out enough light in his room, and at the same time look nice and dynamic in his room. I like the lamp; the lamps adjustable arms are great for directing light where you want it. My son loves it because it is a fun looking lamp. The package it came in was small, it was easy to assemble. I actually love the lamp.
I love this lamp because it looks great in my living room and matches and contrasts with my decor. The lamp looks great and it's a conversation piece but, most of all it gives excellent lighting.
I just got the pink version of this lamp last night and set it up. It was packaged securely in its box. It assembled easily without any tools being needed. Everything just screws together by hand.One of the coolest things about this lamp that is unadvertised is how the switch works. It has three positions. Click it once and all five lights come on. Click it again and three go off, leaving two lights on. Click it again and the two lights go off and the other 3 come on. One more click and everything's off. It's a nice alternative to a dimmer switch.You can put the colored shades on the lamp in any positions you want. They easily are removed but are securely fastened with a nut when in position.Since there are five bulbs the shadows are softer.The cord on this lamp is a little short. I didn't measure but I think it's around three or four feet long. The cord is white.This product is listed as being five feet tall, which it appears to be. When I first saw it together I thought it looked a little short, not that it was shorter than five feet, but just that I didn't realize five feet was that short. I expected this to reach more to the ceiling which it does not. Still, once I got it together and turned on I think it's beautiful and I'm completely satisfied with how it lights up my room. I have it beside my bed with most of the lights pointing up but one pointing down as a reading lamp, which works quite nicely.You won't be disappointed!
