Crescent is a name well know for it's quality. The price of the five pliers amounts to approximately $6.00 a piece which cannot be beat. A very good price for a top quality item.
I haven't tested these in action yet.I expected them to be a USA made product.The package says made in Taiwan.They look pretty good but not up to the quality of 20 or 30 year old genuine vise-grips,which are the best you can get IMHO.I don't know what the current production genuine vise-grips are like.Maybe they are made in India now.Or maybe not yet.Enjoy the triumph of capitalism.Compared to mainland Chinese grips from HF or similar they look quite good.Whatever you do don't buy the HF Chinese grip pliers.They are worse than worthless.They will pinch your hand.These look very good in comparison.I will post again about these if Crescent turn out to be poor quality.

Crescent has been around for many years providing quality tools. I am very happy with these tools.
The set of pliers seems a little rough compared to older tools manufactured in the USA. Works as advertised.
Having the set is really nice. I wondered if I was going a bit overboard, but when you have them, you always find new uses. The build quality seems more than adequate for the price. The only qualm is that the metal could perhaps be a bit harder, but I haven't found anything that seriously deforms the teeth yet.
