   According to Schlage's website, this model door knob is supposed to have their secure key feature, which enables rekeying easily. But it apparently does not. I learned that after purchasing a secure key cut to match the original key provided. The reason I bought this knob was to use the secure key feature. I wanted to match the key with the one for an existing dead bolt lock. Since I cannot do that, I used Schlage's comment form on their website to ask for help. But I received no response. One other problem is the Amazon description of this door knob does not clearly explain that the inside knob will still rotate even when it is locked. I prefer the kind of knobs that lock both the inside & outside knobs so you don't accidentally lock yourself out of the house when the door closes behind you.
